If there’s one thing I am it’s sincere
A parlor trick,
Dunhill smoke wafting through gnarled air
The spite lagoon, everyone swims
Loud gimmicked explosion... Happy birthday.
Nothing but good time Charlie’s out for a fix
I’m just bird watching,
I’ve seen no such animal in the garden of Eden outside Eton
Beautiful plumage.
I sit down in this regret,
Standing on it’s pile of broken bones
Laying down on the unfiltered casino oxygen
You one armed bandits know the address.
I ask the sky not to fall
Guess what?
Sky doesn’t listen.
This is truly a holy hell
Wine burning the throat
A parade of carnival folk and other lost souls,
Dreaming on their feet
It’s the go home moment
The realization that the kid they brought is a mistake sets in.
I am at the bar just noticing rudimentary nature of these unhinged wildebeest.
A watered down drink in one hand,
My heavily crowned head in the other
Holding court.
