Undefined infinity of particles float
into the deep icy darkness of the cosmos.

She remembers the taste of the sweet mango
its fleshy soul slipping through those fingers
while she sunk her fancies beneath the skin.

Moving with the waves of forgotten time
she might be dancing inside a lost gravity
owning the lightness of immaterial dreams
to dimensions unknown to space and time.

Thinking of the planets in an old textbook
she fathoms the rings of Saturn and a red sphere
nebulae, galaxies, mystery abysses to a present
without anchor, without meaning, already done.

Sensing what was once an idea of icy seasons
she feels what may once have been a beating breast
a blue wave to a distant shore just hair in the breeze.

She swims at the speed of eternity to boundless realms
a warm joyful aura glows like Hailey’s treasure.
