In this low-key evening at the Cafe (with guest host Shelley Nation), there was no additional amp — but it wasn’t needed to listen in on Cathleen Schandelmeier’s poetry readings. Cathleen Schandelmeier is the ho0st of the “Beach Poets” weekly open mic at Loyola Beach in Chicago, and it was great to have this chance to see her perform. Though we don’t have titles for all of these poems, enjoy these readings...
